Constructed of traditional Cornish stone and slate, the ground floor of Owl Barn was originally home to the farm cattle with the hay stored above. Retaining its farmyard charm, this delightful family cottage provides beautifully presented inverted accommodation.

Owl Barn is entered via a stable door and on the ground floor there is a reception hall, one large double bedroom and one twin bedded room, each with pedestal wash hand basin. There is a separate bathroom with full size bath and shower over and heated towel rail.

A wooden balustrade safely encloses the staircase to the spacious first floor open plan living area with digital colour television, DVD and CD players. With its high open beamed ceilings the comfortable lounge enjoys the magical far-reaching views from triple aspect windows, and there is a feature natural stone and red brick fireplace with wonderfully warming log burner.

The spacious fully fitted farmhouse kitchen-diner has an inset four-ring cooking hob with oven beneath, and microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

A stable door leads from the kitchen to a safely fenced and sheltered patio area adjoining the open farmland. Pop out and see the farm animals before breakfast al fresco (but don’t leave it unattended as this area is also one of the farm cats favourite spots for sunning themselves)!
