Higher Trevinnick Farm is superbly located for those essential amenities during your self-catering holiday. There are a choice of supermarkets in nearby Wadebridge (and both Asda and Tesco will deliver to the farm if you shop on-line prior to your arrival) and two superb farm shops within just a short drive from the farm offer a wonderful range of quality local produce.
A number of delightful country pubs, all serving food, are just a short drive away, as is the bustling market town of Wadebridge, with itβs wide variety of shops, superb sporting facilities and cinema.
Higher Trevinnick Farm is ideally located for visiting the spectacular North Cornwall beaches and dramatic coastal paths. In addition many wonderful historic houses and gardens, museums, art galleries, wildlife and craft centres are all within easy reach as well as a superb choice of fabulous adventure and fun parks designed for the family.
There is an abundance of leisurely cycle ways combining spectacular views with sheltered woodland trails where you can hire bicycles or take your own β cycling alongside the beautiful River Camel Estuary on the Camel Trail to Padstow is a must, or head the opposite direction towards Bodmin and pop in to sample Camel Valley Vineyard produce en-route! Alternatively take the Bissoe Trail to Portreath, cycle through Pentewan to Mevagissey, or cycle to the Eden Project from Bugle β all easily accessible from Higher Trevinnick.
James is around the farm on a daily basis and is happy to recommend places to visit for a day out, breakfast, lunch and evening meal, as well as alternative travel routes β a favourite is to take the scenic train journey from Lelant to St Ives rather than driving into the town!
