Although we don’t promote ourselves as having cottages specifically designed for guests with disabilities or special needs, we appreciate there are many different forms of disability and recognise that non-specialist facilities are sometimes preferred. We therefore do our best to be as accessible and inclusive to as many guests as possible.

Both cottages are tucked beside the farmyard where the farm activities are primarily based. Guests with restricted mobility can enjoy holidaying in Fox Den, being on one level, and we already take pets so assistant dogs would be equally welcome.

We are happy to discuss any special requirements you may have and are willing to make changes wherever possible. For example, if you let us know in advance we can:

• Allocate you car parking immediately outside your cottage to minimise difficulties when arriving or leaving your cottage – we gladly help carry heavier items of luggage for all guests.
• Provide access to your cottage prior to 3pm on your day of arrival to refrigerate medicine such as insulin.

If ultimately we can’t meet your specific needs at Higher Trevinnick, as members of the Cornish Tourist Board we can refer you to similar accommodation providers perhaps better equipped to accommodate disabled guests.
