Beautifully presented single storey self catering accommodation

This spacious single storey cottage affords exceptionally comfortable accommodation. It is entered via a large tiled entrance porch ideal for canine companions to dry off after a romp on the beach or in the fields before being allowed into the living area! There is coat rack in here plus a cupboard, lovely old dresser that belonged to Tracy’s Nanny Saucers, and a really useful tray for boots and shoes.

Three bedrooms and a double-width en-suite shower!

Fox Den has a spacious double bedroom with ensuite comprising double-width shower, wash basin and WC, and an original brass bed perfectly positioned to enjoy the spectacular views – some guests call this our ‘sky bed’! There is a twin bedded room, a further single bedroom and the separate bathroom has a full size corner bath, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Farmhouse style kitchen overlooking the farmyard

Looking right out onto the farmyard and into a barn full of friendly farm animals, the large fully fitted farmhouse style kitchen-diner has an inset four-ring cooking hob with oven beneath, microwave, tall fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Delightfully decorated with a centrepiece pine welsh dresser, table and pew, this room is a wonderful environment for family meals or games.

Magical views of the farm and animals

The comfortable lounge, with feature stone fireplace and digital colour television with DVD player, enjoys stunning south facing views. Sit and watch the antics of the farm animals and wildlife in the adjoining fields.

Fantastic garden – simply magical!

Outside there is an expansive lawned garden area for you to enjoy – put up a badminton net or simply sit and relax with the animals at hand! Wooden chairs and tables are provided, but they do tend to congregate around the communal ‘fire pit’ where our guests enjoy a glass of wine (or more!), barbecues and toasting marshmallows on the open fire! Watch the sun go down over the fields, and as darkness descends, complement the moonlight by lighting up the lanterns hung in the apple trees or just look at the stars – it’s simply magical.

Parking is available directly outside Fox Den for up to two vehicles, with a short lavender-lined path under the purgola leading to your cottage . We have plenty of places to store roof boxes or bicycles under cover during your stay.
